About Heidi Kundin
Welcome! Hi there, I’m Heidi Kundin!
I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Heidi, and I live in Northern California with my husband, Mitch (who also happens to be my right-hand man at Happiness is Homemade), our three teenage sons, two dogs, three cats, and an enormous Costco bill (feeding teenage boys is no joke! 🤣).
Back in 2010, our family decided to launch a little project called Happiness is Homemade. It was our way of keeping distant relatives and friends in the loop with our creative ventures, from crafts to printable activities and everything in between. Little did we know, our small blog would catch fire and grow into something with global reach!
Today, we’re thrilled to share that we spread smiles and inspiration to more than 9 million readers annually, far exceeding our initial dreams and bringing joy and creativity to a worldwide audience.
I have a bachelor’s degree from CSU Sacramento where I studied interior and graphic design – I love putting those skills to use designing printables that help other busy people! Need a last-minute printable card, DIY gift idea, or fun holiday or party game? I’ve got you covered!
Being creative is my #1 favorite thing to do, and I love using crafting technology such as my Cricut and Silhouette cutting machines and my Glowforge and xTool lasers to take my crafting skills to the next level!
I also LOVE teaching these skills to YOU!

- I love books! If you’re also a reader, I’d love for you to send me a friend request on Goodreads!
