TGIF Happiness is Homemade readers! My name is Jen and I go by Jen….crazy stuff right? I blog over at Four Marrs & One Venus, have 3 boys and married my high school love going on 15 years now. I am so happy to be over here sharing some crafts, recipes and diy’s from time to time! Thank you for having me Heidi!

Today we are going to talk about the dreaded chore list that every kid hides from.

Not.
Any.
More.

Nope, we created the fun way to do chores:  a Chore Cootie Catcher!
Chore Cootie Catcher

Bring the fun factor back into the chores by taking a piece of paper and folding it into a standard cootie catcher. You will then write the numbers 1-8 on the top flaps. Then put your chores on the underside of the numbers. Turn your cootie catcher over, color each flap a different color.

Then let them at it! Take a look at my boys playing the chore cootie catcher:

  1. Hi Jen! Thanks for the coffee and cinnamon rolls! Congrats on being a contributor! I love this cootie catcher chore idea. I’ve never known how to make one of those, not even when I was a kid, but my daughter does. Little will she know that she’ll be part of the chore corps! Hey, the grandbabes aren’t the only ones that live here. 30 years old or not, you’re helping! Moohaha! Thanks for the weapon, er, trick, umm, idea! Hugs, Leena
