DIY Cookies For Santa Plate
What You’ll Need
- Plate of Your Choice (You can find the pictured Glass, White, and Gold Plates here)
- Cricut Premium Permanent Vinyl
- Cricut Maker or Explore Air 2 Cutting Machine
- “Cookies for Santa” SVG File (available below)
To begin, use the Cricut machine (I LOVE my Cricut Maker!) to cut the different layers of vinyl for your plate. The file contains a black outline layer that can be used or omitted depending on your desired result. To illustrate the difference, the clear glass plate does NOT use the black outline layer, and the white/gold plates do include the outline. It’s really just a matter of personal preference!
Weed the excess vinyl (the hooked weeding tool is my most favorite, and it makes weeding SO simple!), and then use transfer tape to layer the vinyl on to the plate.
To design this shirt, I simply omitted the “Cookies for Santa” layer and included an additional layer of text using the Phoenix Summer font. It’s SO quick and easy to customize and use our free Christmas SVG file for whatever your heart desires!
