These awesome Captain America Cupcakes are SUPER easy to make! Perfect for your next Marvel party or Avengers movie viewing!
Easy Captain America Cupcakes
Avengers: Infinity War is in theatres today, and I can’t wait to see it! The film boasts one of the most epic casts in movie history, and even though ALL of the Marvel characters are pretty awesome (and attractive!), I stand firmly in the camp of Team Cap. Captain America is my favorite of all the Avengers because not only is he the very definition of a classic superhero, he also has a heart of gold. Captain America stands up for what he knows is right, and he is always ready to sacrifice himself in the fight for truth, honor, and integrity. *dreamy sigh*
So, to celebrate the premiere of the new Avengers movie, I whipped up a batch of these adorable and super easy Captain America cupcakes in honor of my favorite Marvel hero!
Start by making a batch of vanilla cupcakes (recipe below) and frosting them with your favorite icing.
To Make Captain America Cupcake Toppers, You’ll Need:
Gently roll out the red fondant to about 1/8″ thick. If the fondant starts to get sticky, use a little bit of powdered sugar on the rolling pin and rolling surface. Use the largest 2.75″ cookie cutter to cut out the red fondant. Place the large red fondant circle on top of the frosting.
Roll out the white fondant and use the 2.25″ cookie cutter. Apply a small amount of frosting on the back of the white fondant and stack on top of the red. Next, use the 2″ cookie cutter on the red fondant, apply frosting to the back of the circle and stack on top of the white fondant circle. Finally, roll out the blue fondant and use the smallest 1.5″ cookie cutter to cut a blue fondant circle. Apply a small amount of frosting to the back of the blue fondant and stack on top of the other colors.
Use the small star cookie cutter to cut out a white fondant star to stack on top of the blue circle. Repeat with all cupcakes.
These Captain America cupcakes are just too cute! SUPER fun and SUPER easy peasy!
