This month’s Family Movie Night feature is The Boss Baby, an epic comedy adventure that’s perfect for the entire family! We’re sharing a cute and crafty treat, a yummy recipe, and some fun printables to make your Family Movie Night a huge success!
This month’s Family Movie Night is a super fun one! The Boss Baby Special Edition is available today on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD, and it is a fun comedic adventure that the whole family will enjoy together!
The Boss Baby is the story of seven-year-old Tim Templeton and his reluctant relationship with his new little brother. Boss Baby comes into the family wearing a suit and toting a briefcase, and it soon becomes apparent that Boss is on a secret mission that will require his older brother’s help. Their mission is to stop the CEO of Puppy Co. and his Forever Puppies from taking over the world in the epic battle over who is the cutest – babies or puppies!
The film is full of hilarious and heartwarming moments, laughter, love, and adventure – perfect for my three little boys! When you purchase The Boss Baby Special Edition, you can also experience the New Mini Adventure: The Boss Baby and Tim’s Treasure Hunt Through Time along with tons of awesome extra bonus features!
I wanted to make something special for our Family Movie Night treat, so I decided to make cookies. One of the catchphrases from The Boss Baby is “Cookies are for Closers,” so I thought a batch of mini baby-sized chocolate chip cookies would be perfect!
Of course, I couldn’t JUST make cookies, so I also created these fun popcorn-style treat boxes designed to look like Boss Baby’s suit and tie.
I simply printed the popcorn box template onto heavy cardstock, cut out the outline, folded on the dotted lines, and used a glue stick to assemble it. Using the glue stick, I attached only the top half of the tie to the popcorn box, giving some dimension to the bottom half.
Such a fun and simple way to jazz up Family Movie Night and make it feel extra special! Easy peasy and totally cute!
Make one Boss Baby popcorn box for each member of your family or movie viewing party.

Of course, we can’t forget about those cookies that Boss Baby’s pal Jimbo loves so much!
