It’s the end of football season, and that means that we have been spending our weekends hanging out with friends and watching all of the exciting playoff games leading up to the rivalry of the Big Game! It’s so much fun! When it’s our turn to host the weekly football party, I like to set up a tasty party spread full of my family’s favorite foods. It’s a quick and easy way for me to take it to the house and score with my biggest fans!
These little guys are going to be the stars of the party table!
I printed out a sheet of team jerseys, cut them into 2″ wide strips, wrapped them around the Coca-Cola bottles, and secured the ends with a piece of tape. Easy peasy, and super cute!

I wanted my party to be the best football watching party EVER, so I made my most favorite appetizer ever – taco crisps!
Start with crisp and buttery RITZ® crackers, and top them with seasoned ground turkey, salsa, shredded cheese, green onions and lettuce. SOOOO yummy!
What You’ll Need:
- 2 tablespoons Chili Powder
- 1 tablespoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Cook 1 lb. of ground turkey in a skillet, and set aside.
- Mix all spices and seasonings together.
- Combine with 1/4 cup of water, and add to ground turkey in skillet. Stir well.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes or until the water has evaporated.
I’m glad I managed to snag a quick photo of these as I put them on the table because they disappeared within seconds!
I love those “penalty flags,” don’t you?
We also served a party tray with RITZ® crackers, assorted deli meats and cheeses, carrot sticks and ranch dip. These are all of my boys’ favorites on one platter, so they thought I was the coolest mom on the block for including this on the party table!
I still can’t get over how cute these Coke Zeros look – and for such minimal effort! I love it when party decorations come together so quickly and easily!
Of course, you can’t have a party without dessert, and these Coca-Cola chocolate cupcakes were the perfect ending to the big game. I used the Coca-Cola cupcake recipe from My Baking Addiction, and it was AMAZING! The only changes that I made to the recipe were that I substituted the Classic Coca-Cola in the original recipe for Coke Zero, and I paired the cupcakes with store-bought chocolate frosting in the interest of time.
Seriously, BEST. CUPCAKES. EVER. Everyone devoured the entire batch in about two minutes flat!
To host your own epic game day party, visit your local Walmart to pick up all of the necessities, and keep an eye out for this special Home Bowl 2016 RITZ® cracker display. While you’re there be sure to pick up Coca-Cola 16,9 oz. 6-packs for the special price of 2 for $5 for a limited time. I found my soda on the endcap right next to the RITZ® cracker display.
