Mummy Halloween Rice Krispies Treats
I love to take ordinary desserts and turn them into something extraordinary! All it usually takes is a little bit of frosting or some candy sprinkles to turn your favorite desserts into a festive holiday dessert. After all, it’s not everyday that we get to eat food shaped like mummies or a spiderweb cookie pizza!
Rice Krispies Treats on their own? They’re really, really good. Halloween Rice Krispies Treats that are dipped in white chocolate and have candy eyes? Now that’s spooktacular! These treats turn out so cute and they taste amazing!

Halloween Rice Krispies Treats
My boys had so much fun making these with me. Younger kids can help dip the Rice Krispies Treats into the melted chocolate and older kids can help pipe on the frosting to turn their Rice Krispies Treats into a mummy friend – a friend they can eat!

Ingredients for Halloween Rice Krispies Treats
- Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats (if you prefer to make your own, we love this recipe!)
- Wilton White Candy Melts
- Popsicle Sticks OR Lollipop Sticks
- Large Candy Eyes
- Disposable Piping Bag
- Flat Frosting Tip (Wilton #101)
How to Make Halloween Rice Krispies Treats
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the Rice Krispies Treats and discard the wrappers.
Insert one popsicle or lollipop stick into the base of each Rice Krispies Treat and place on the baking sheet.
Place the baking sheet in the fridge for 25 minutes.
Pour the Wilton white candy melts into a microwave safe dish and heat in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring occasionally until melted.
After 25 minutes, remove the Rice Krispies Treats from the fridge and dip into the melted chocolate using a spoon to completely coat the treat. Allow the excess to drip back into the bowl.
Place the chocolate coated treat on the baking sheet and give the mummy two eyes.
Once the chocolate sets on the treats, re-heat the leftover chocolate in the microwave.
Attach the flat frosting tip to the disposable piping bag and scoop the chocolate into the piping bag.
Gently squeeze the melted chocolate from the bag and onto the mummy treats in a back and forth motion. Repeat with all treats.

- Once the chocolate sets on the treats, re-heat the leftover chocolate in the microwave. Attach the flat frosting tip to the disposable piping bag and scoop the chocolate into the piping bag.Gently squeeze the melted chocolate from the bag and onto the mummy treats in a back and forth motion.
- Allow the chocolate to cool and firm before serving. Enjoy!
