This quick and easy Spiderweb Cookie Pizza is a super fun and yummy idea for Halloween! You can whip up this adorable semi-homemade recipe in no time at all!
I love, love, LOVE cute party foods, but I hate when those foods take all day to make. I’m all about the quick and easy recipes here, so when I discovered that the #CreativeFoodies theme for this month was Halloween party foods, I was totally excited to make this spiderweb cookie pizza that I’ve been daydreaming about for quite awhile.
What You’ll Need for a Spiderweb Cookie Pizza:
- Pie Pan (the disposable kind works great!)
- Refrigerated Sugar Cookie Dough
- Can of Vanilla Frosting
- Neon Purple Food Coloring
- Dark Chocolate (suitable for melting)
- Spider Chocolate Mold
- Toothpick or Wooden Skewer
Line the pie pan with the sugar cookie dough and bake according to the directions on the package (Note: you may need to adjust the baking time if your layer of cookie dough is extra thick). I baked my cookie for 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
Place 1/4 of the vanilla frosting into a piping bag (or a ziploc baggie with the tip snipped off!). Color the remaining frosting with the neon purple food coloring.
Melt the purple frosting in the microwave in 10-second increments until the frosting is just thin enough to pour. Pour on top of the cookie, leaving a thin “pizza crust” around the edges.
Top the purple frosting with a swirl of white frosting.
Use a toothpick or a wooden skewer to create the spiderweb lines by drawing lines from the center of the cookie out to the edge. Easy peasy!
Top the cookie pizza with chocolate spiders (to make the spiders, simply melt dark chocolate, fill the candy molds, and refrigerate until set).
Slice the cookie pizza into slices and serve! It’s sure to be a huge hit with your Halloween party guests!
