Heart Eye Emoji Cookies
Love emojis? My kids are obsessed (and for good reason – they’re tons of fun and super cute!)! My personal favorite is the heart eye emoji, so we whipped up some adorable heart eye emoji cookies that would be perfect for birthday parties, Valentine’s Day, and more!
Supplies Used for Heart Eye Emoji Cookies:
- Sugar Cookies – store-bought or homemade (this is our favorite Sugar Cookie Recipe + we add the zest of one lemon!)
- 4 oz. Yellow Fondant
- 2 oz. Black Fondant
- Red Decorator Icing w/ #5 Round Icing Tip
- 2-Inch Round Cookie Cutter
- 1-Inch Round Cookie Cutter
This amount makes 12 cookies, but it’s easy to double or triple the recipe as desired!
Quick Note: If you baked your own cookies, allow them to cool before decorating!
Cut the desired amount of fondant from the larger piece, and gently knead it for a few minutes until it becomes soft and pliable. Roll out the yellow fondant so that it’s about 1/4″ thick.
Use the 2″ circle cookie cutter to cut twelve circles from the yellow fondant.
Press a yellow fondant piece on each cookie.
Roll out the black fondant, and use the 1″ cookie cutter to cut six black circles. Using a small knife, cut two smaller slivers off of each circle and gently round the edges to act as your emoji’s smile. Press one smile on to each cookie.
Using the #5 round icing tip, pipe two heart eyes on each cookie with the red decorator icing.
These adorable heart eye emoji cookies would make great party favors at your emoji birthday party or a super sweet classroom treat for Valentine’s Day!
These sweet emoji treats are sure to be a HUGE hit with all ages!
