Printable New Year’s Eve Word Scramble

This fun New Year’s Eve word scramble game is made up of fifteen mixed-up holiday words just waiting to be put in proper order – race the clock or each other to see who can unscramble the most words the fastest!

Word scrambles are an awesome way to combine fun and learning! There are TONS of cognitive benefits that come along with word scrambles and word searches including the development of word recognition, spelling, and vocabulary as well as learning to use context clues, but most of all, they’re just plain fun!

Our New Year’s word scramble contains words of all different lengths, so it’s appropriate for elementary school aged children through adults. This one is a little more challenging than some of our other word scrambles, though, so younger children might need a little help from a grown-up to get all fifteen words correct! (Don’t worry, though, we also included an answer sheet for anyone who gets stuck!)

(Here’s a sneak peek at one of the answers…because this is the one that my husband got stuck on! 😉 I always have my husband and kids test out our printable games before we share them so that we can better gauge age appropriateness!)
