Thanksgiving dinner is one of my favorite holiday meals because I love enjoying everyone’s company as everyone stays at the dinner table for longer periods of time than a typical family dinner. Since we spend all day preparing the food and baking delicious pies, all that hard work usually translates to everyone savoring each bite together while we catch up with family and friends around the table.
Not everyone is able to sit still and stay patient at the dinner table for hours on end, though! Sometimes it seems like kids take two bites of dinner and are ready for the next activity! To help keep those little bodies at the table longer, we designed these super cute Thanksgiving placemats that are chock full of fun activities for kids!

Free Thanksgiving Placemats
These adorable printable Thanksgiving placemats serve two main purposes:
- Give kids (or adults!) something to do once they’re done with the meal but not quite ready to leave the table…OR you can let the kids work on their placemats while the adults are finishing up with the cooking!
- Keep spills and crumbs contained to one spot on the table making messes a breeze to clean up and saving your fancy placemats from stains!
There is a fun Thanksgiving activity for everyone! You can also use these to keep kids busy while you cook the meal throughout the day or even as a little competition for adults before or after the big meal. Whoever finishes the unscramble word game first gets to carve the turkey or gets the first piece of pumpkin pie!
