UV DTF has taken the crafting world by storm lately – for good reason! UV DTF transfers are UV-printed designs that are backed with a permanent adhesive – they’re essentially like large rub-on transfer stickers that are bold, bright, and durable. They’re incredibly easy to use, which makes them perfect for beginners!
Since DTF printers can be quite expensive and require a significant amount of maintenance and upkeep, most at-home crafters rely upon printing services such as Ninja Transfers for their UV DTF printing needs. The great thing about utilizing a printing service is that you won’t need to purchase any special tools or equipment! Simply design your transfers using our free templates below, then upload your design file to the printing service to purchase your UV DTF prints!

What is a Gang Sheet?
UV DTF prints can be ordered individually, by the size, or they can be ordered in larger sheets that contain multiple designs. These large sheets are referred to as “gang sheets.” Gang sheets are commonly available in 20-22″ width (varies depending upon the print service used), and they are ordered by-the-length, typically in 10-12″ increments.
The Canva template downloads below will create gang sheets that are 22″ x 24″ (can be resized within Canva as well). These templates incorporate the most popular sizes of tumblers and mugs including:
As a bonus, the template set also includes templates for round keychains and motel-style keychains. These keychains are perfect for filling any remaining small blank spaces so that you can get the most out of your gang sheets!

How to Use the UV DTF Templates
To use these templates, you will need a free Canva account. If you do not have a Canva account yet, please sign up for one now.
Log into your Canva account, and open the template file from the download below.
Sizing the Template Frames
Page 1 of the template includes several frames for different sized tumblers and mugs. Determine which templates you would like to include in your gang sheet, and compare the sizing on the template to the specifications of your blanks. Adjust sizing as necessary.
PRO TIP:
The measurements of your blanks may vary slightly from the ones in my template. To ensure a perfect fit, use a soft tape measure to measure the height and circumference of your tumbler/mug and then size the template frame accordingly.
To resize the frame, select it in Canva, and slowly drag the edge point to increase or decrease the size. As you change the size, the dimension measurements will appear on the side of the frame as shown above.
How to Design Your Own Gang Sheet Layout
If you would like to design your own gang sheet layout from scratch using the provided tumbler/mug frames, click on the + symbol at the top of Page 1 to insert a new page.
Then, copy/paste the desired frames from Page 1 into the new page and arrange them so that they fill the page.
How to Use the Existing Gang Sheet Layouts
This template set also includes several different pre-designed gang sheet layouts including a full sheet of 16 oz. glass can cups, a sheet of 20 oz. glass can cups, a sheet of 24 oz. tapered tumblers, as well as a sheet of assorted tumblers/mugs.
Note: Again, be sure to compare the sizing on these template frames with the sizing of your blanks.
Adding Designs & Images to the Frames
Once you have decided which gang sheet template you would like to use (or have created your own layout), it’s time to upload your image designs and place them into the frames.
Click on the Uploads tab on the left hand side, and click on the purple “Upload Files” button to upload your images.
Drag and drop your images into the frames. The image will automatically fill up the frame as best as possible. If you would like to adjust the position of an image in the frame, double click the image inside the frame, then drag the image to the desired position.
Note: Don’t forget to delete any existing text labels (“15 oz ceramic mug,” etc.) after adding your images to the frames!
Exporting Your Gang Sheet
Once you have your gang sheet arranged and the frames filled as desired, it is time to export the file for printing.
Go to the “Share” button in the upper right corner, and select “Download” from the menu.
Make sure that the file type is set to PNG, then adjust the size slider so that the image is 6600 x 7200 pixels in size. Select “transparent background” and choose which page you would like to save. Finally, click on the “Done” button to export the transparent PNG file.
After your file has been exported, you should be able to view the design on your computer to confirm that it has a transparent background as shown above. It is VERY important that your design is on a transparent background otherwise the white background will be printed behind your designs.
Now, all that’s left for you to do is to choose your favorite UV DTF printing service (we prefer Ninja Transfers) and upload your file for purchase – easy peasy!
